Set in the Gallura countryside, between Arzachena and Porto Cervo, Cascioni presents a model of sustainable hospitality that naturally extends into the world of wellbeing. The retreat lies within an 18-acre agricultural estate encompassing 3,000 olive trees, a vegetable garden, a herb garden and a small farm. Here, treatments are based on local ingredients and the estate’s own produce.

Mediterranea Spa
The Mediterranea Spa is an organic extension of the Cascioni experience. Guests are involved right from the beginning, helping to gather aromatic herbs from the medicinal garden, which then feature in treatments alongside the estate’s own olive oil and honey. The wellness area invites you to slow down, alternating between the warmth of the sauna and the Turkish bath – filled with natural light – and the relaxation of the heated pool and sensory showers. Between treatments, the experience is completed by the herbal tea room, offering a fragrant pause to savour natural infusions prepared by the therapists. The spa, open to residents and external guests alike, also carries a Cascioni-branded cosmetics range, produced locally and naturally, using the region’s plants and herbs. The entire range supports every step of a daily skincare routine, from cleansing to moisturising, and is made with the estate’s own extra virgin olive oil.

Wellbeing rituals
The wellbeing journey begins in the medicinal herb garden. From here, the estate’s natural bounty adds two defining ingredients to treatments: extra virgin olive oil produced on the farm and honey from the estate’s own hives, available in thistle and wildflower varieties. These form the basis of signature treatments such as Green Gold, an olive oil ritual with rebalancing and anti-ageing effects that helps to strengthen the skin’s natural barrier, and the Honey Ritual, in which golden honey is poured gently over the body, stimulating the circulatory and lymphatic systems.
Terra di Sardegna features dried herbs wrapped in fragrant bundles, while Is Perdas is inspired by the deep warmth of volcanic stones. Two treatments that illustrate the relationship between wellbeing and the local area, celebrating the island’s botanical heritage and natural energy.
Nature in skincare
Massages at Cascioni incorporate aromatherapy and the beneficial properties of plants grown on the estate, harvested at their seasonal peak, when they most fully express their characteristics. Following a calendar that respects natural cycles, Cascioni offers treatments that change with the seasons: June, for example, is the month of helichrysum, July belongs to rosemary and August brings wild fennel.

Forest Spa
Wellbeing at Cascioni also unfolds at the Forest Spa, an open-air sanctuary surrounded by greenery that celebrates the slow rhythms of nature. Amid aromatic essences and wild vegetation, straw beds provide the setting for massages and treatments such as the Ritual of the Senses, an experience that begins with a stroll through the medicinal herb garden. Guests gather herbs such as lemon thyme, pineapple mint and verbena along the way, which are then infused into the oil used during the treatment.
Essential oils to welcome summer
With the arrival of summer and increased exposure to the sun, it is important to prepare the skin on your face with deep cleansing and exfoliation. The Mediterranea Spa offers Rigenera Viso, a treatment combining peels, essential oils and an artisan scrub made in the retreat’s own small laboratory, reflecting the care and attention that go into every aspect of the Cascioni wellbeing experience. The treatment eliminates dryness, restores hydration and firmness, and returns skin to its natural elasticity and softness.
